WELCOME 2018 – SELLING YOUR HOME WITHOUT HITTING THE MARKET

You have all had a friend or heard of someone that sold their home “before” it hit the market.

Some listing agents will brag how they can sell your home without it hitting the market, while it sounds tempting, you may want to think twice before doing it. On this subject I will not win friends in the Industry. WHY ?

Selling your home prior to exposure on the market , MLS, Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, social media, marketing with virtual tour may cost you thousands.

My advise to clients selling their home, “the market will dictate the value” + (appraisal). You cant find out if anyone is willing to pay more for your home or offer better terms if it is not exposed to the market place.

Let me put this into perspective for you, I listed a home once at market value, that home went to multiple offers and bidding war. It “Sold for $100,000 over the list price”.
