Pre Marketing Vs Pocket Listing

Selling your home as a Pocket Listing with an agent means, Not having the property in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). Your home will NOT be exposed to the maximum# of buyers and agents with buyers. This could cause the sales price to be lower than “market value” . The market place dictates the value, without hitting the market place, how are you sure you got the best price for your home ?
Keep in mind that Real Estate is a “COOPERATIVE INDUSTRY” Once in the MLS your home is exposed to 15,000 + agents & hits Realtor.com as well as many other public sites. Agents with buyers as well the buyers are monitoring these sites.
Pre Marketing a home prior to going into the MLS is a much better idea than the pocket listing.
